The main hall is L-shaped, opening up to the left. An ornate carpet must have once been
beautiful; now it's grimy and well worn. Some kind of large plant,
long dead, fills the far right corner.
A painting of a forest scene is on the left wall.
You see two doors:
- The first door, to your right, is shaped
oddly because it's built to fit beneath the staircase.
- The other door is quite shabby. It's at
the end of the hall and may once have been more or less hidden by the
plant.
