A new email account (such as mail.42inc.com) will appear in your Folder List. Right click on the account and select "IMAP Folders."

2. Rule to Copy Sent Messages
Setting up this rule ensures that the emails you send are copied from the local installation of Outlook onto the IMAP server. This enables you to view your sent email from other locations. Click once on the Inbox of your IMAP mail to highlight it. Go to Tools>Rules Wizard.

Click on "New."
Click on the option to "Start from a blank rule."

Click on "specified" in the Rule description

Click on "specified" in the rule description.
A window appears that shows your email accounts and folders.
Expand folders as necessary to find the Sent Items for your IMAP mail. Click on (or highlight) the mail.42inc.com>Sent Items folder and click on "OK."

Don't add any exceptions.

Specify a name (something descriptive like "Copy Sent Items for mail.42inc.com")
Click on "Finish."

Click on OK.
3. Icon to Purge Deleted Messages
Deleting messages from IMAP folders in Outlook is a two-step process. When you delete a message in Outlook, it will have a line strike through it. At a later point, Outlook confirms with the IMAP server to finally delete the message from the server. This enables you to quickly undelete the message in case you accidentally deleted it.
To proactively confirm that the strike-out messages should be deleted, you can tell Outlook to Purge Deleted Messages. To put this icon on your toolbar, do the following:
In Outlook, go to Tools>Customize. You can also go to View>Toolbars>Customize.
A window appears to customize your toolbar.

In the left side of the box, click on the "Edit" category. In the right side of the box, scroll down until you see "Purge Deleted Messages." Click and drag "Purge Deleted Messages" onto your toolbar.
Click on "Close."
You are done!
Note :If you are using Norton Antivirus and having problems sending email, please disable the "scan outgoing email" setting. Since 42inc Mail provides full Anti-virus protection you do not need to use Norton Antivirus for your email.
Congratulations! You have now completed the initial setup of Eudora 5.2 to send and receive mail from the mail.42inc.com server. If desired, you may now personalize Eudora settings for your use. Be careful not to change any settings specified in this document.
