This document will assist you in changing the outgoing port number in Outlook 2003.

Note before you start: If you are using Norton or any other Antivirus software, please disable ALL email scanning (both incoming outgoing email). You will not be able to use your 42, Inc. email before you do this.

1) Open Outlook 2003

- Choose Tools>Options.
- Then choose Mail Setup and click on E-mail Accounts:


 

Choose"View or change existiing email account.

3) Click on "More Settings:"


4a) If not checked, check "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)" boxes for both incoming and outgoing server.

4b) Change the outgoing port number from 25 to 4242 as shown: then clcik "OK" and "Finish."


This should allow you to send email from multiple locations.
